Shop with a Hero
The Shop with a Hero program brings First Responder's and local children together during the holiday season. Every year, First Responders take kids on a shopping spree at Paris Walmart. The Shop with a Hero Program works with local organizations and Community members, hosting different fundraisers throughout the year. Our Local Schools counselors choose children who would benefit from the program. Then Paris Police Officers, Bourbon County Sheriff's Office, and Paris/Bourbon County Fire-EMS take the kids shopping. The Paris Police Department is proud to be a part of this program and have the opportunity to build positive relationships between First Responders and the community.

In order to get a child signed up, They must be a Bourbon County resident, and you will need to contact a School counselor. First Responders do not sign anyone up.
